Vaughn Taylor wins at Pebble Beach, coming home to Augusta to play in The Masters

Many are calling him “the comeback kid”.

Former Augusta State golfer, Vaughn Taylor is coming home to Augusta play in this year’s Masters Tournament after winning at  the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.

He entered this weekend’s tournament without a PGA tour playing card – but he made the most of his past champions’ exemption.

Taylor shot a 65 yesterday to win his first PGA tour event in 11 years, earning himself his first Masters invitation since 2008.

“I didn’t even have my tour card and got in this week off past champion status and I’m playing in the masters pretty soon so it’s just a dream come true and just so many people to thank. I don’t wanna take the credit.  There’s so many people that have helped me get here. I love every one of them and thank them so much,” said Vaughn Taylor, AT&T Pebble Peach Pro Am Winner.
